Another frequently asked question that people seem to ask over and over again without searching in the old posts.

If you use separated backups using time stamps with a normal folder you get something like:

Folder1 2010-05-05 11;00;00
Folder1 2010-05-06 11;00;00
Folder1 2010-05-07 11;00;00, etc.

With some special folders like My documents, if you look at them in Explorer you may see
My documents
My documents
My documents, etc without the time stamp.

People ask why CB does that. Well, surprise: that is simple IMPOSSIBLE. You cannot have several directories with the same name at the same place. If you go to the command line and do a dir you will see the *right* names

My documents 2010-05-05 11;00;00
My documents 2010-05-06 11;00;00
My documents 2010-05-07 11;00;00, etc.

So what you are seeing is just an illusion. Explorer just handle some directories in a special way, giving them a shorter name. Don't ask me why. I didn't design Explorer.

The folder icon and name for special folders is controlled by desktop.ini within that folder. If you exclude this file, then everything would be OK. Sometimes this "problem" can also be solved if you don't copy the file attributes of your source.
