In older versions you used the "Remote tool" to connect to the client of your choice. In version 10 this has changed. You now have the "remote manager", which is a server program. All clients connect to it and you can just select any online client from the list to work with.

To make it work you just:

1) Install the program in the computer that will be working as the server. Let's say that this computer will have the IP address 192.172.0.1. When the program is successfully installed, you need to configure the server.

2) Configuring the server. Start the manager from Tools-remote manager (or from the Start menu). Click Options. Enter the pot the server will be using to listen for connections. The default port is 16010. You can limit the connections by Password or by IP , or both. Enter the password you want to use to verify the connection. Be careful to include the IP address or the range of your clients in "Allow only these addresses". For example, if you will be managing 30 computers in the range 198.172.0.3 to 198.172.0.33 you could enter 198.172.0.* in the list. Click OK to save the options. The server is now ready to be used.

3) The next step is to configure the clients. All the clients that you need to manage need to know the port, address and password to use to connect. Install the program in all the clients. Click Options-Management. Click Managed to indicate that yo want this client to be managed from the server. Enter a client ID. This is the name that will be appearing in the list of clients. Enter the IP address where the server is located. In my case it will be 198.172.0.1. Enter the port that you used in the previous step (16010) and the same password.

4) Click OK. After some seconds you will see your client name appearing in the list of clients in the remote manager server.

Good luck
