Hi

Im trying backup some files who are in use.

I try to active the VSS (Volume Shadow Service) in windows xp.

but the message on error with files who are in use is:

Native error: 00033

can i do something to backup these files?

Native error 33 is "Cannot open file". Perhaps the file is already in use by some other program?

Yes, he is in use by another program. I cannot backup that file?

It's nonsense, as the VSS is used to access shadowed files made because the original ones are already used by other processes.

You need to use VSC if possible.

i active the service "MS Software Shadow Copy Provider" and i get the same error.

Can i do something to backup these files?
