Don't Retry on Error, Do Run Once If Missed

Post by kleinfelter »

My laptop isn't always on, and I'd like to run a backup after power-on, if my backup scheduled for 7 AM is missed. So I enabled "Run Missed Backups."

My backup drive isn't always attached -- such as when I take my laptop to the library. In this case, the backup fails, as expected, but it keeps re-failing every hour.

It appears that "Run Missed Backups" means "Run the backup if your PC was off at the scheduled time" and also "Retry the backup periodically if it fails."

Is there a way to get Reflector to attempt the backup once the PC is powered on, but not to keep re-trying all day?
TIA

It just

1- Never even tries
2- Retries every hour.

No betweens.
