Ok, I will try this...
But the full backup is not only empty, it fails with an error. I think Reflector should consider this an handle it appropiate. There is an important difference between empty backups and failed backups.

Sorry to be contradictory. I saw the same problem in the past: Cobian Reflector tried to do a full backup. That didn't work, because the network drive used as destination wasn't reachable at that time. The next backup Cobian Reflector tried to execute was a differntial backup. And to make it worse, ...

Ok, that would solve half of the problem
Then every backup is full. No chance to do a differential or an incremental backup then...?

Hello, I've setup an incremental backup with full backup every 5th run. The first backup is, as expected, a full one. Now (accidentally) delete that one!
