Re: SevenZipSharp error
I modified the Archive setting so that the Method was zip and re-ran the backup job. Cobian-ZIP.PNG The job ran successfully without errors. 2023-05-02 18:35:47 A backup has started... 2023-05-02 18:35:47 Individual file operations will be logged only to the log file and not seen on the user interfa...

Re: SevenZipSharp error
I am not in the office now but from memory my initial attempts were just using ZIP and the problem did not occur.
When I get back to the system I will try using the same parameters but generating zip files rather than 7zip and see what happens.
Thanks for your quick response.

Re: Compression type/Encryption method
Thanks.
I found the "Compression Method" as 7zip in the Archive tab but couldn't find the" Encryption method", (AES 256/192/128 bits), in that tab.

Compression type/Encryption method
I'm attempting to move from Cobian Backup 11 to Reflector v2.3.9 but I can't find options to define the Compression type and Encryption method . Checking on the FAQs I found a few of responses indicating that these may be available in a release due early this year (2023). Is there any news on this u...

Re: Incremental backups not deleted automatically
I think ther is some mis-communication between us. As you can see on the screen shot I am running an INCREMENTAL backup not DIFFERENTIAL. On the production site this failure to delete old, FULL, (and subsequent INCREMENTAL), backups resulted in huge amounts of disk space being used by old backups wh...

Thanks for your quick reply.
At the moment I am not in the office so I can't get the "Dynamics" information but as soon as I get there I will post it here.
