Re: Suggestion for Reflector

I am guessing not many people use FTP feature of the Reflector or Gravity 11. Do most of them use local backups to say share or USB HD? I use it to send a 20GB database home via SFTP. 1. Zips all the files and saves x.zip then auto connects to my offsite FTP server and sends the file. It works flawl...

Suggestion for Reflector

Im still using Gravity 11 because I was unable to get reflector to work as well using a Filezilla server. Maybe you have already done this, I gave up over a year ago and went back to Gravity 11. Maybe make a step by step guide on - Setting up a FPT server (That has been tested to work with reflector...

Hello nice to see a new version is up. I still can't get FTP oer TLS to filezilla to pass unless I uncheck Require TLS session resumption on data connetion when using PROT P. http://puu.sh/JazZN/a749907216.png Any progress on this issue? Re: FTP server communication

Glad to help you. You are one of the good old school guys. Not many of us left.

Cobain is one of a kind. Very easy to use and great for linking together batch files. Not seen anything quite like it.

Re: FTP server communication

Yes I can imagine its tough going with the SSL. I included a photo of the filezilla server setting. Only if you uncheck the "Require TLS session resumption on data connection using PROT P" will it work. http://puu.sh/J0CEH/e1fd91e295.png So even though resumption is checked as default filezilla acts...

Re: FTP server communication

One thing that kind of worries me on FTPs is what this fellow mentioned. "One huge killer that I have noticed in my personal experience with FTPS is that it will “silently” default to plain FTP if the security handshakes fail. I have enough experience to know this and debug/exception handle each FTP...

Re: FTP server communication

After looing at the new filezilla server 1.41 I do not see an option for SFTP. I use cobain to zip a database (15GB) and send the zip to offsite filezilla server (Homelab) I have GIgbit fiber For some reason it maxes out at around 12 MB/sec sending to home. Today from the same server I tried sending...

Re: FTP server communication

Aha! Great. I'm using a new more modern library now that has some other defaults, so that explains the change. Filezilla server does not support the extended master secret feature in TLS. This feature makes connections more secure and is supported by the client. The old version used the less secure...

Re: FTP server communication

Our this connection test with advanced registration helped a lot. Through the advanced records I managed to do more detailed research and found that the problem was in Filezilla Server, I had to uncheck the option "Require TLS session resumption on data connection when using PROT P". The strange th...
