Re: Incremental backup (empty folders)
Hi, any news on this? My last run of RED deleted over 800 empty directories, so it would help if they were not created in the first place

Re: Mask and Regex filters not working for folders?
No luck. Folder content was still copied. Folder name contains the word cache, file names do not. Edit: To test I created a small folder and file structure and only added that mask to the task. I tested again with the regex I previously used and it worked, I think I did not properly test it before, ...

Mask and Regex filters not working for folders?
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I can't get Cobian Reflector to ignore folders based on keywords. I'm using the below mask and regex: cache, *cache, cache*, *cache* Cache, *Cache, Cache*, *Cache* ^.*cache.*$ ^.*Cache.*$ However, cache folders are still being backed up. Any help to prevent...

Re: Incremental backup (empty folders)
This used to be deleted in 1.1.5. Would you add a separate option for that? Since a lot of empty directories with no data is confusing.

Re: Incremental backup (empty folders)
Verbose log below. Created test task on same drive to keep all details in. Only empty subdirectories are referred to, not empty main directory. 2023-01-26 10:42:20 Individual file operations will be logged only to the log file and not seen on the user interface! Consult the log **file** when the bac...

Re: Incremental backup (empty folders)
No errors or anything. Example below with redacted details But log only mentions "Checking if there are empty subdirectories...". The main directory is not referred to when checking if empty. 2023-01-25 19:00:44 Backing up the task "Backup (Data - Videos)" 2023-01-25 19:00:44 Applying the parameters...

Re: Incremental backup (empty folders)
They are not being deleted.
I checked for hidden files and system files, there's nothing in the folder. RED (Remove Empty Directories)(configured to ignore any folder with any file) detects them as empty.

Re: Incremental backup (empty folders)
I think there's a misunderstanding of the issue here. I'm referring to the parent folder created by Cobian Reflector (example "Documents 2023-01-13 19;00;23"). The empty subfolders are deleted, but the empty parent folder created to contain the backup is not. I tested it in another local directory (...
