I had the same problem. It didn't resolve until I stopped the services (including force quit) and restarted them.

I meant editing the parameters.

As of now, if you click edit:
1. you are met with the file selection GUI dialogue (to pick an exe).
2. then an empty parameter box.

So you can't edit previously-entered parameters.

An option to disable an event without deleting it.

Currently, (2.3.9) you can't edit event parameters (except through manually editing the config file). This was a useful feature of v11.
