This is currently set to k...

Re: Deleting old backups

I wiped all the backups and then ran the incremental job three times. It did a full backup as expected and then two incremental backups, again as expected. I am not 100% sure when it did it, but the full backup now has the Parked flag. This is unexpected by me. Now that the Parked flag is there, wil...

Re: Deleting old backups

So it does seem to be working now. I'm not sure what is different.

As I suspected when set to keep 2 backup copies, it writes the 3rd backup (running out of space) before deleting the 1st backup.

Let me know if you have any better ideas or workarounds to do this.

Wes

Re: The source directory doesn't exist or couldn't be accessed

Thanks for the idea's. I had checked security before and Everyone was allowed Full Control. There is only one user defined. I did see that Authenticated Users did not have write access. I gave that group Full Control and I also 'changed' the owner to myself, even though I was already the owner, but ...

The source directory doesn't exist or couldn't be accessed

I have an incremental backup configured to retain a couple of full backups. I am seeing the following errors and these directories are not being backed up. ERR 2019-09-11 08:07 The source directory "\\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy244\Downloads" doesn't exist or couldn't be accessed ER...
