Re: Change proposal - program improvements
So I know you're done modding the program but I decided to go mess around to see how this all seemed to work and found some questions. If I choose incremental backup every day, full backup every four days and use a fixed day of Friday, what happens. Does it backup every Friday or only when a Friday...

Re: Change proposal - program improvements
That's exactly what "Use a fixed day" does. or am I misunderstanding the issue? Hello. It is exactly as you wrote, there is such an option in the task configuration, I use it and it works. But on weekdays, differential backups start (e.g. in my case) after 3 p.m. However, on every Saturday I would ...

Re: How to: on file change transfer from a local PC to remote FTP server
What if you select a timer in the schedule tab in the schedule type drop-down menu and make an incremental copy, for example every 10 minutes. Would that solve this problem?

Change proposal - program improvements
Is it possible to change the program by adding a separate schedule for a full copy? The reason is that full copies are best made on weekends when the organization is officially closed, there are no users, etc. But there are a lot of these full copies and a lot of data. This affects the time of their...

Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
That's right - hibernation and shutdown are two different situations. (One or the other can be set in the task properties.) But if in the first case the program somehow "gets lost" and does not work properly, it may be worth rethinking your problem and switching to a complete shutdown. In the comput...

Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
Hi.
Guys, how often do you make these copies in a day? Can't you replace hibernation by completely turning off your computer?

Re: question about such a detail
As for showing the password, I totally agree. But as for the rest, not so much. Only for the ftp connection there could be information that the connection speed is intentionally limited by the user. (useful when testing several tasks at once :D or in general in the future. Will everyone with several...
