Yes, creating separate task for each destination USB drive is a good approach. If you move the backup destination USB drive to your router USB port and check the drive letter remain the same, you should be able to apply the task without issues.

Try closing any programs that might be using those files or run the compression process when the system is less active. On the other hand you can try any online application.

Hey hi, please verify the FTP transfer mode setting in Cobian Backup and check that it's set to binary mode and also check for any discrepancies in file sizes between the original backup zip file and the one transferred via Cobian Backup.

Hey hi, have you checked that the incremental backup option is configured properly to capture only modified files and also check the scheduling setting to check they're set up correctly.

The error occurs due to files being accessed by another process. Switching off compression resolves the issue. By the way which type of file you are trying to compress? If image related then you can try online application such as Jpeg Compressor.
