For whatever reason I am unable to search the bulletin board even when following the rules (i.e words not too common). The only way to find anything is to list all the messages and then scan the subjects.

What am I doing wrong?

I solved this by using the new microsoft setting for smtp: smtp.office365.com However, I found that this won't work unless you are logged into onedrive ...

Apparently microsoft has updated their smtp server address to smtp.office365.com.
