Re: Problms with differential backup

I use two tasks because I use one task from Monday to Thursday with a retention of backups and the other only on Fridays with another retention, the task from Monday to Thursday is the differential one and the one that does not delete the old backups and the task of Fridays is the full one, if you d...

Re: Problms with differential backup

I run the Full backup every Friday and I tell it to delete the archiving attribute and the full backup to be deleted every 4 backups (that is, I always have 4 full backups, one per week). and from Monday to Thursday I make a differential backup and I do NOT restore the archived one, which is that if...

Re: Announcement

Re: Post Backup Events - Start Task

I did not understand the question, the same PC that generates the backup is the one from which I put from the historical backups part, I select the dates and I tell it to delete and I tell it to delete not only the registry but also the files and it does it , which is a problem in that when you do t...

Re: Problms with differential backup

I attach the screenshots of the task configuration, the strange thing is that the one that is COMPLETE is the same (except that the full one clears the archiving checkmark and obviously on the first screen instead of being in Differential it is in Complete) and with that It doesn't happen that they ...

Re: Post Backup Events - Start Task

No, it is not a permissions problem. Even deleting the old backups is done from the same cobian (I do not delete them externally). When I set to delete the backups by hand between dates, I put the check mark to also delete the files and it deletes them.

Re: Error during Mirror operation from the network

Seriously, because someone does not know the consequences, it is not logical to take out a tool that, when used well, is very useful. If I remember correctly, it is clear that it is not a backup, it is simply doing a mirror task, it is like someone who calls raid 0 raid and raids are supposed to be ...

Post Backup Events - Start Task

Hello, I tell you that although I still have several computers with "Cobian Backup 11 (Gravity)" I have a problem with which I will comment below, it had something that was very comfortable which was that in the Post Backup events --> Start Task, It lets you put the tasks by name, which has now been...

Re: Error during Mirror operation from the network

Please do not remove it, since although it is not a backup, it is very useful in certain situations. For example, I have 2 computers that I backup, one is the classic backup (it is backed up from Monday to Friday with differential retention of 14 backups). , this one runs from Monday to Thursday and...
