Are you behind a firewall? Is the connection passive? If not, try to change the connection to Passive. Try also indicating the Min and Max dataport (if the connection must be active).

Perhaps you are using Separated backups? Separated backups will always copy all files that are not found on destination (unless you tell the program not to do that in the options)

It depends. With my NAS I use the Advanced tab of my task: (Run the task as another user) and enter the user credentials for my NAS. It works. In other cases perhaps you will need to login by executing a bat file as a pre-backup event. Or, if your NAS has FTP capabilities, you could use that to back...

Should work. I have approximately the same configuration for my tasks in Windows 10 and have access to my share. Of course, the service should not be running under the Local System account.

This could potentially be a problem because of the archive attribute being cleared by a task and used by the other. You could try to solve this by using the time-stamp (non-attribute based method) but this only works without compression. You could also play with the advanced option of "Clear archive...

If you have installed the program as a service then the engine (cbService.exe) should be running. The Volume Shadow Copy requester is optional but it should be running as well.
