And yet sometimes it would be nice to be able to clone a job and then just edit the path instead of having to navigate all over the place to get to the new, very similar path. Maybe a new option, "Edit as test"?

Oddly, if you enter a destination manually and it points to a valid directory, when you try to edit it, you get the explorer based directory picker and not the text editor, so not actually that useful unless you're using something like %DATE or having Cobian create a folder.

I might try putting the command i a batch file and having the batch set the errorlevel on it's way out. So I got my program working and tried using it to change the %FORMATDATETIME setting in the .ini file which is does just fine, but unless you quit and restart the program Cobian does not seem to ever re-read the settings, so after all that I failed. Not sad, just failing at figuring out how to solve...

But in one case, I want a backup every day of the month and I want each days backup to overwrite the last months backup on the same numbered day. So I end up with 31 folders numbered 01 - 31 and I can look at any backup over the last 28-31 days, depending on the month. Can do the same thing for a we...

I'm sure it's me. the program works fine with the ini file in the project folder, but not in the Cobian folder. I shall have to investigate further and see where it goes wrong.
