Using the timeformat yyyyMMdd for example will only use 8 chars.

Yes, I just though that the user should be sure to have a properly working temp dir, but I understand the issue.

Hmm.. the program should copy paths up to 32000 characters. Unless the destination is FAT formatted.

An ftp path shouldn't begin with double //.

The path is OK. But the Initial folder on a ftp connection must exist, if I remember it correctly.
