Is Settings/Engine/Analyze exit code checked? No it is was not. Maybe you should consider making that the default. The confusion was created by Task/Events/Pre-backup events, "Cancel the task if some event fails". To me that line meant that the exit codes were analysed. Maybe because I also do prog...

Wondershare is a weird directory. It seems to be a moving target and was a pain under 11 too.

After upgrading to 12 and a good reboot, I can no longer reproduce any of these errors. I did have to exclude C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\Wondershare, as the weird files structure freaked out Reflector. I asked the customer about is and he is fine with it as he is not using Wondershare any more. Here is...

I cured this issue with the "universal Windows cure all" (Windows is such a kludge):

Woops! That was Cobian 11 not 12. I will upgrade to 12 before more troublshooting. I have four other machines doing the same thing perfectly and I bet I have them on 12.
