Some people use it to quicky change what to backup.

It can be quite useful just to copy all the tasks to some other computer (just copy the list file to the other machine).

Just park the first backup. It will never be deleted then.

No, that's what I meant with "not used directly". Only the import function can be used but I really don't remember if the history and settings are imported as well. Now that I think a litle more about this I'm afraid they are not. :(
