Perhaps I'm missunderstanding the question, but Deleted files are not in the source anymore, so they can never be backed up.

1. That has been the behaviour since version 1 (1998). For local backups the right time stamp will be applied but not for ftp/sftp.

I see, the problem is that, while you can have readonly o a folder (Windows explorer allows it) it doesn't have any practical effect. Even in explorer it says: Read only (applies only to files).

This doesn't work with ftp or sftp backups btw. Should only work with local backups.

Not that I am aware of. But why don't you use a timer *incremental* task? This will have the same effect.

You can use thhe Filter tab in the task for exclusions.

Access denied happens whe the account thhat is running the program (the application OR the service) cannot acccess the source. Two options: 1- Give access to your account by changing the permissions of the source 2- Change the account that is running the backups. If you are running as a service and ...
