There are a lot of things to fixe before the actual version is more or less stable so this is not a priority at the moment. But yes, could be possible.

It seems that you have checked Cancel if Volume Shadow Copy fails on the Settings, but is really Use VSC in the task unchecked?

What does the error say? Perhaps it's some file that is open by some other application.

This could happen when you have thousands of small files. Just uncheck Options- Visuals- Show sizes in task list

The engine has crashed. Restart the engine. And try to find out what the cause of the crash was. Perhaps you find something in the log?
