Nope. Individual files are NEVER the default option. Too slow. That I can guarantee you.

* You don't need VSC (even if it's very nice to use it) so if you don't want to install .NET 3.5 you don't need to. You can uncheck Use volume shadow copies on your task so you don't even see this warning.

* Yes, 1% in 21 hours IS slow. I guess your are copying a lot of small files to a NAS?

Another possibility is that the VC redistributive pack was not correctly installed (or was uninstalled manually).

You can check if Visual C++ redistributable pack ins installed, using the control panel.

I think Use absolute paths is checked.

There is already a PAUSE event.

See if the file ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib. Dll is present on your program's folder.
