FTP data transfers stopped suddenly

remotes ftp clients

Hi all,

I have a windows ftp server with remote ftp clients using cobian backup gravity. the connections are in VPN to encrypt the transfer channel.
suddenly at the end of February all transfers did not work and the ftp server did not receive any files from remote sites.
this is what happens when the cobian task is launched (look at picture)
I have never encountered this message before
what did cobian say that there is virus analysis, who does this analysis?

ok but no antivirus on the machine! (ftp client)
may be look at ftp server, because kaspersky is installed on the server?
there is also firewall appliance between ftp server and remote ftp clients..

in any case it's been working for 5 years, and this is the first time I've seen this message!
it's only on Win XP machine!

The message may be comming from the server side yes...

I think the problem isn't from server or client OS
i have also this message:
"Error loading file "D:\backup\file.zip":
Opening the data connection in BINARY mode."
what could this be?

All transfers are done in binary mode so there's nothing strange here.

the task does not use compression.

Aha, sorry , I saw that it was a .zip file which was the problem.

Do all the other (non-zip files) upload OK?
