Replace folder with Full Backup

Post by losasvard » Wed May 15, 2019 9:04 pm

Hey all,

just wondering if there's an easy way, other than having a pre-backup routine, to force a full backup to wipe a specific destination folder before running?

Basically I have the following setup on my backup drive:

all timestamped backups in separate folders, one full and the rest are incremental. What I want to do is when it's time to run the full again (every 10th backup) wipe the old full backup directory and replace its contents with the new full backup. Maybe I'm just not understanding how a full backup truly works and it does this already?

Let me know!

Cheers

Task properties-dynamics-full copies to keep. Set it to 1.
