Hello,

I'd like to know if it is possible by now, or in a future version, after a full backup, to delete backup files that no longer exists in the source, to synchronized the source and the destination.
I hope you understand, my english is not very good sorry.

Advanced options > Check "Mirror task".
Be careful with this option...

Yes, Mirror task as indicated above. Be careful with that option. If you by mistake delete a file and want to get it back from the backup, then you won't find it there. Mirror is NOT a backup!

Hello,

i´ve got the same problem with checked "mirror task".
I think the problem will happen because i activate the encryption of the files and the filenames.
Besides, the "mirror task" also not working on ftp targets.

I will backup my source to an external harddrive and a ftp-server with the functionality of "mirror task".
Is that possible with cobian backup?

Thanks

You are right about the mirror not working on FTP sites. Thr mirror should work on your external drive, though.
