Ignore accessed date

Post by Udavid97 »

Hi,

Is there any way to ignore the accessed date for non full backups?

I do incremental backups of my Glasswire database daily, it has multiple 3-4 GB files, even though 1-2 file get modified by the software, it usually opens the others too, nearly all of them get its accessed date changed.
Cobian backups these "unmodified" files also unnecessarily. Can I ignore these somehow?

Thx

Is the archive attribute for those files also being modifies? There are 2 ways to detect if a file needs to be copied: the archive attribute OR the timestamp. You need to chose one of those methods. If the program modifies both the attribute and the timestamp then there is no way.
