Cobian Backup 11 (Gravity) and Virus

Bonjour,
I switched from Win7 to Win10 and wanted to use Cobian Backup Gravity again because
I like this application.
A quick scan with Virus Total
https://virustotal.com/ showed that Cobian Reflector has no viruses, while Cobian Backup has
3 viruses (Jiangmin, MaxSecure, Trapmine).
If you could clean the executable, I would appreciate it.
Regards,
Leloup

The executable is clean if you download it from the official site. Report it to the Antivirus maker.

This is the same.
The download site is:
https://www.cobiansoft.com/download.php?id=2
The odds are very high that Jiangmin has not accessed the VLC installer correctly. In other words, this it would be a False Positive
In the comments, you say that you do not modify the software anymore. However, the last modification was made 3 days ago. Something tells me that it would not be you......

Leloup

The las modified is the date when you downloaded it. It's not unusual with false positives.
I have downloaded it from several sources like
majorgeeks.com/files/details/cobian_backup.html
with the same result from every single site. The probability that every single mirror site has also been compromised is quite lite.

Bonjour,
Thank you for your answer.
Sorry but I loaded it yesterday and not three days ago. If it was not you who modified it, you should ask yourself some questions.
From majorgeeks.com/files/details/cobian_backup.html ......This is worst.
4 virus:
Jiangmin: Packed.Dico.ajp
MaxSecure: Trojan.Malware.300983.susgen
SecureAge: Malicious
Trapmine: Malicious.high.ml.score
As a result, I tried to find a replacement software from one of your competitor and if the download is virus free, the software is less good than yours.
It's really a pity that your software is corrupted. Didn't you try to put a checksum? or something else?
If anyone is reading these messages and has stored the Cobian backup Gravity without virus, I will be interested.
Regards,
Leloup

Here you can download old versions from 2012. Every single one gets reported on the same three sites.
https://cobian-backup.en.uptodown.com/
Reflector is the only one without warnings at this time.
