COBIAN BACKUP 11 GRAVITY- PAUSE CLOSE APP AND RESTART

Hi,

I am doing a first time back up on a laptop with Cobian Backup 11 Gravity and the size is 860 Go so it's taking a long time and I have some power source issues with the laptop (long story) so it turns itself off from time to time before I can complete the first backup. The only solution I could think of is to pause the backup, shut down the app, recharge the laptop (it shuts itself off while charging, yes I have some serious issues with it) and restart the back up from where I left off afterwards. I haven't tried it yet so I wanted to ask if it's possible and if it is, how to go on about it. I would appreciate some help.

Don't think there is a 100% working solution for this...

Since it's your first time, incremental backup will be of no use.

Can you try backup in smaller tasks? Even if the laptop shuts down, you won't lose all the backup, but just a portion of it.

And i heard Veeam Agent support the pause & resume feature for backups. May be try it?
