Hi,
I had to reinstall from scratch OS on a PC that had Cobiab Backup installed and running. I installed OS on new SSD.
So, I have previous HDD and it is accessible.

Is there a way to find and copy old settings so that I can see what tasks were scheduled and how they where programmed?

Then, I will install Cobian Reglector as new software to use.

Moreover, how to configure email notification? I see the tab being alwasy not configurable.

Thank you

Just copy the old settings, list and history folders into the new installation.

Hi,
may I please ask the path from where to copy the following folders:
settings, list and history
Where do I find them?

I tried to reproduce a working PC environment on a virtual PC by installing Cobian Backup 11 and create a simple task.
All I can see is a main folder in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cobian Backup 11" and inside this main folder I see:
DB, Help, Languages, Logs, Settings folders and several files.

I do not find any Cobian present in C:\users\<user_name>\AppData

Please could you be more specific? I am trying to prepare myself for when I will work on the real PC and am trying to replicate this scenario so that I am sure to know what to do.

Many thanks

Excellent! I was able to replicate the recovery. Many thanks.

Two additional questions, if possible.
When I create a new backup activity and wish to have incremental backups how do I manage the entire project so that I do not have incremental backup for a long time? How to consolidate, let's say every month, the incremental backup and turn it into a full backup so that the following month it will start with fresh incrementa backup?

Thank you

Just play with the Dynamics tab in your task. There are some options there that can help.
