I've created a virtual machine (VM) on my own computer using a USB Wi-Fi adapter. Rather than connecting to the internet directly from the host computer, I have set up the virtual machine to connect to the internet using the USB Wi-Fi. Does the virtual machine (VM) present any security risk to my host computer in the event of its compromise? Which possible weaknesses or factors should I be aware of, and how can I protect myself from them?
