Cobian doesn't delete old backups

Hi everyone!
I am having a problem regarding differential backup. No matter how many backup copies I enter to keep, the copies just stay there on the drive making my backup drive full in a few days. So, what could be the problem that cobian leaves the files there...? Why Cobian doesn't just delete them....? Am I missing something?
So I need to erase old backup files to make more room for the new ones.
What I want to achieve is having one full backup, and 2 or 3 differential backups (the first one parked backup is full, so I also do not know why it is called differential).
Thank you!
