Cobian doesn't delete old backups

Hi everyone!
I am having a problem regarding differential backup. No matter how many backup copies I enter to keep, the copies just stay there on the drive making my backup drive full in a few days. So, what could be the problem that cobian leaves the files there...? Why Cobian doesn't just delete them....? Am I missing something?
So I need to erase old backup files to make more room for the new ones.
What I want to achieve is having one full backup, and 2 or 3 differential backups (the first one parked backup is full, so I also do not know why it is called differential).
Thank you!

I don't see any full backup in your list. Perhaps you have deleted it manually? Any differential backup MUST begin with a full backup as reference. This backup is now not consistent. I would reset the task and begin it again, forcing a full backup first.

Yes, I deleted it manually, so I can make a "new" Full Backup, but after that I never got the Full backup parked, only differential. Should I delete the task, and recreate the same task again? Do you mean that, when you say to reset the task?
Thank you!

Hi,
I deleted all the tasks and recreated a new ones. I still can't get the first Full Backup parked, only differential. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you !

I would delete that backup and choose Force full backup from the Task menu.

Yes, that did the trick, after "Force full backup" in Edit section, I have full backup parked. Sorry, I don't know how I failed to notice that. I'll let you know about my backup's progress in next few days...
Thank you.

Everything is working now as it should; old backups are being deleted regularly, thank you once again!
