Cobian 11 (gravity) creating empty folders

Post by kenheard »

Hello,
I’m having an issue with Cobian Backup in which the job runs without reporting errors, but no files or folders are getting copied to the destination directory. I’m sure this has to do with us changing our Domain Administrator password which was used to run the Cobian services in windows (using “Run this task as another user” in advanced settings).

The destination folder gets written out properly and it appears like the Volume Shadow Copy is created, but then the program deletes the VSS and finishes without copying anything to the destination. I have changed the domain admin credentials to match the new credentials in the advanced settings window, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Reverting to the old credentials restores proper functionality.

This is the output from the backup log:

Code: Select all

If this is a full backup, then, could you check the permissions to the files to see if littlekids.local\LKIDadmin can really "see" those files?
