Luis, hi!
File
c:\Program Files (x86)\Cobian Backup 11\Settings\cbEngine.ini

explain this line (Temporary directory=C:\Users\it-admin\AppData\Local\Temp)
...
IPC timeout=180000
VSC timeout=300000
Use system temporary directory=true
Temporary directory=C:\Users\it-admin\AppData\Local\Temp\
Abort if VSC fails=false
Check CRC uncompressed=false
Copy file attributes=true
....

I did not find such a setting in the graphical interface. I understand that this directive is used to temporarily store the created backup, and then transferred from it to the main one? So?
Thanks.

This setting is found in the UI at Options-General as far as I know. And this is used often with compression only or when sending the log files by mail, but not used at all when copying files directly (without compression).
