These are 2 separated errors with no connection between them.

* The first one indicates that the Volume Shadow Copy is not installed or not running. Often this happens if .NET 3.5 is not installed on your system.

* The second error indicates probably that E:\ is not available for the service. If E:\ is a network path, the easiest way to solve this is to change the installation mode from Service to Application.

I solved this problem by reinstalling Cobian backup 11 (remove with keep settings, then reinstall). The bottom line for me was that I had cleaned up unwanted startup files with "Norton's Utilities Ultimate" - including "Cobian Backup 11 Volume Shadow Copy Requester". Reinstalling Cobian also reinstalled the startup file shadow requester.

YES I just typed it in google and downloaded it. cobain loaded ok

I can't run it. It says it is running in the background. I uninstall and same thing happens.
I want to set up a backup but can't do it
