Hello,
I'm using Cobian Backup for years now. I have an incremental backup in order to have an exact replication of my hard drive and be able to access the file and use the hard drive, where is made the backup, as a new drive in case the source drive crashes one day.
After years now, the old source hard drive is now showing some signes of failure and i have some errors during the backup, of cyclic redundancy.
The problem is the destination file is then deleted in case of those errors, and so i'm loosing files which is exactly what i'm trying to avoid by doing this backup.
What are the options to change so in case of errors on the source files, destination files isn't deleted?
Thank you in advance for your help,
Nataly
How to avoid loosing backup in case of error on source file?
Re: How to avoid loosing backup in case of error on source file?
I will add an option to test the file before attempting to copy. This will perhaps slow the backup doan a bit but it will make the process more robust. I will add this on Reflector, not on Gravity.

Hello,
Thank you for this add-up, i'll see if i will change the software i'm using for now.
So it means it isn't possible with Gravity ? No parameter tweaking to help about that?
