I have it set to backup 2x a week at a given time, but it doesn't always perform the backup. What is the problem ? Win10 program installed as an app for all users

Is the computer asleep at those times?
If the user logged on?

The PC uses the default Windows power settings, so after a period of inactivity it logs off and goes into power saving mode so at the time of backups it is in power saving mode

So in the power settings I should put the option never power saving mode and everything should be fine?

Not if running as an application. If running as a service it should run if no user is logged on.

Still, it happened that the backup was not started sometimes because I have set to turn off the PC after the backup and today a colleague came in and said that the PC was still on. Therefore I have no idea where the error could be if due to long idle time the operation does not start. If so what must be set but manually running the backup is all ok, thank you for any answer

An application is not running if no user is logged on., so a service is always the better option.

What kind of schedule have your task? Does it use ordinary days of the week?

What version of the program is running?
