Couldn't delete the remote file (FTP)

Hi,
I have a task that sends the backup to an FTP Server.
It is not possible to delete older backups. The user used has permissions to delete files on the destination.
ERROR:
Couldn't delete the remote file.
Reading this forum I saw answers about "mirror backup not work to FTP" but I don't even know where this option is. I just create a common task and target an FTP Server
Some Help?
Thanks

Thanks . Will test.
Only one rhetorical question. Why does a Linux user still uses FTP instead of the much superior sftp?

I will use it in the future.
I'm just starting the simple tests to resolve the issue about deleting old files via FTP.
I believe I will have the same problem. I don't think this is the cause of the problem but if you believe this to be it, I can configure it for SFTP.
What do you think?

I need to test with Proftp to see. There are so many FTP types and every single of them has small differences, so it's hard to see.

Have tested with Reflector and it works here. I can delete the files.
Have not tested (and won't test) with Gravity.

Same problem with Reflector.
Can you tell me the command that Cobian sends to delete the files (FTP)?
