Stucked task during backup at random position without any error

Post by erektus »

Hi,

I'm facing issue at my new computer with cobian reflector. I have a few tasks and cobian randomly stuck at different task at different position. There is no error in log, I can just see that copied file is still the same (even it has a few kB), no movements in progress bar. It can stay there for very long time so next scheduled task run causes just report in log that task is currently in queue. I can hit stop or pause, but completely without any effect.

I tried to use full or differential backup, use shadow copy or without it etc, but nothing solved this issue. I'm using mirror copy.
I have no difficulties at my home computer with W10, but I have difficulties with work pc with windows11. Setting is the same.

Thanks for suggestions

When that happens, does the engine go way? (Is the icon on the tray red?)

I've had similar issues with Cobian Reflector in the past, especially when dealing with larger backup jobs. A few things you might try:
Increase the backup buffer size: This can help prevent the program from getting stuck.horror games
Check for conflicts: Make sure no other programs are running in the background that might interfere with Cobian Reflector.
Try a different backup method: Experiment with different backup methods, like incremental or differential backups, to see if that helps.

Create a new task that backs up only a small number of files to see if it completes successfully. This can help determine if the issue is related to specific files or the overall configuration.
