DateStamp backups
I like to keep 2 or 3 backups but I can't find the date of the backup anywhere in it so I can look at the latest one. How do I get it to include it - preferably in the name? Thanks.
Re: DateStamp backups
See the help file under Parameters, but you can configure your task to delete the backups automatically for you in the Dynamics task.

Re: DateStamp backups
Thanks but not very tech savvy at 87 years of age. I understand I need to use %DATENOTIME but where and how do I use it? Thanks.
Re: DateStamp backups
If you don't what to use parameters, then I would open the "Dynamics" tab of your task and select Full copies to keep, and set it to, for example 3 (or whatever). Then the application will delete the old backups automatically and preserve only the 3 latest.

Re: DateStamp backups
I understand that but my point is that I cannot tell the date when the backups are made. They only seem to show the dates of the original files. I want to see WHEN a particular backup is made.
