copying all files in incremental and differential downloading via sftp

Post by doctorxray »

First I would like to thank you for a great program especially now supporting sftp

I am pulling files from a OpenBSD 6.6 server down to a windows 10 box via sftp. I think I have tried every way to sync files in a folder down to the windows box. Use Archive Attributes on and off Clear attributes is checked. I have looked at the log file in debug mode and I did not see anything that would point to an error. Does Reflector set the archive bit on the files to be downloaded on the sftp server? The sftp test worked without errors. Always down loads all files as if it was a full backup. I even unchecked "first backup full" in program properties. Hopefully I am just missing something easy. Thanks advance Doctorxray

Sftp/ftp sources will always be downloaded fully. No incremental/differential backups possible at this moment.

ok figured out no archive bit in unix. Only time stamps can be used. "ctime" should used. I did read the info box on "use archive attributes" under edit task that said "if unchecked the file date will be used instead". I hoped that would work. Maybe in the future :) thank you for the reply
