Hello Cobian,
It's a real pity, because this error spoils what is otherwise a great programme.
I am really thinking about switching back to Cobian Backup 11...
What is so different between Reflector and Backup in this matter???

Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
Nothing I can think off. If you can provide me the EXACT way for reproducing this I will take a look. I have tried and tried and no missed backups are ever... missed.

Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
Hey Cobian,
I gave you the information already:
Hello Cobian,
I've tried a few different ways to solve the problem:
1. uninstalled CR, reinstalled CR.
2. deleted task list (mainlist.lst), recreated all tasks
3. tested CR as a service
4. tested CR as an autostart programme
each without success. Execute missed backups is of course set in the settings.
I use CR under Windows 11 22H2.
I do not shut down the PC completely but put it into hibernation mode. After reactivating the PC, the missed backups are not started.
If the PC is completely rebooted, the missed backups are restarted.
Your question in your last post:
What is the date of the "Next backup" in the last item of the history?
My answer to this:
There is no entry about the next backup.
For me, too, the catching up of missed backups is very important and therefore a sore point in an otherwise very nice programme.
I hope that my error descriptions can help solve the problem.
Regards, Otrag

Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
If there is no entry in the Next Backup then the Missed backup won't work. What kind of scheduling is your task using?

Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
Have you tried the way I described in an earlier post...?
Making sure the computer is at sleep at the scheduled backup time.
I use right click on Start -> Shutdown or sign out -> Sleep to put my computers at sleep when I don't use them.
I have three computers that behave exactly the same.
Windows 10
Backup 11 Gravity works as expected
Reflector consequently never runs missed backups

Thomas
Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
Hello Cobian,
an entry for the next backup is always available!
See my screenshot created on today's date, which is 07.06.2023.
The computer was awakened from sleep mode every day and used for several hours. But the backup (set up as a service) was never started.

Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
Hi, was Run Missed Backups corrected when running as a service?
Re: Settings>Functionality>Run Missed Backups
The program should check the Nächste Sicherung date and if that date is in the past, the it should run.
