The files are compressed directly.

Linux -> Windows: All works.

Windows -> Windows: Still doesn't work for me.

I can only achieve the .zip extension with this settings:

m7zip.png
m7zip.png (37.3 KiB) Viewed 3404 times
AlterExt.jpg
AlterExt.jpg (44.21 KiB) Viewed 3404 times

But I need 7zip to extract the backup file because if you only rely on built-in extractor on windows 10 or 11 you will be greeted with this:

CobianR_7zip_zip.jpg
CobianR_7zip_zip.jpg (35.43 KiB) Viewed 3404 times

Anyway, I'm ok with it. But I'm sad regarding the future of this program on what will it be on those three possible ways to go:

To Sir Luis, thank you for the years of effort you have invested in this convenient backup program software.

Again! Thank you very much for your great work and support.

Perhaps the file has the readonly/hidden attribute set?

File readonly/hidden attribute is not set.

I even try it on Cobian Reflector Decompressor:

Anyway using 7zip it extract with no problem.

But still my main problem is still my first post:
Windows -> Windows:
An error occurred while compressing the file "\\someWin10PC\somedatabase.gdb" into the archive: (32) The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process:

Can you copy this file manually? Is Volume Shadow Copy being used?
