Scheduling not working

Post by Ylavoie »

Hi,
I have installed Reflector which is very fine. I ran Gravity for years without any problems.
I have imported parameters from Gravity to Reflector and all seems to be fine.
I ran a first back-up with reflector and it goes well. The second has been planned according to the schedule. But when the time happens, the back-up never started. I ran it manually and it works fine. I looks at the parameters, everything seems to be fine.

Any idea why the schedule is not starting?

Please find enclosed the list of my task, the parameter and the schedule

Notice that the incremental backup executed on 2022-03-29 has been ran manually by me. It was originally scheduled for 2022-03-28 23:39
The next one is scheduled for 2022-03-31 23:39.

Don't work on this problem until I come back with a status about the next backup scheduled. I suspect a problem with the import from Gravity...
So I made an update (re-import the task) which might have solve the problem.

So,.. let's see...

Bonjour Ylavoie,

Ce sont des copies d'écran. Ce n'est pas suffisant pour permettre à Luis Cobian de vous aider.

Pouvez-vous poster les fichiers suivants :
  • "C:\Program Files\Cobian Reflector\Lists\MainList.lst"
  • "C:\Program Files\Cobian Reflector\Settings\Cobian Reflector.ini"
Merci pour lui.

And you are sure that the computer is not asleep at that time?

Yes, it was not sleeping.
It was working correct with Gravity...

Unfortunately, it did not start last night.. :(

The program don't let me add the files 'MainList.lst' and 'Cobian Reflector.ini'. I'm getting an error message (Invalid file extension).
Then how I can post those files?

You need to zip those files in order to attach them.

O.K., then

Here is the zip file...

Thank for your help.

N.B.: I got this problem in the past while updating the Gravity version. Unfortunately, I do not remember what I did to solve the issue.
As my list is very small and only one task, if you don't have time to work on it, don't worry. I can delete my task and recreate it.. then see what will happen.

Problem solved.

After few inverstigations and analysis, I found the guilty process changing the sleeping mode...grrrr..

So, it is working very fine now.

That was my guess. I have tested now for one week and it's being executed every time. :)
