First thank you for this great software
I install Relector as service and when I try to specify regular user account, to be sure to access network share, I receive error at final step of installation : can't start services.
After, I go to application and give the same regular user account and all work fine.
For information I previously use Cobian Backup.
I use Reflector since 0.9.62-Beta with the same problem (now 0.9.99-Rc1).
Regards,

Works here... Do you have an empty password? Was the password correctly entered?

No, I never use empty password, and take care to correctly enter it.
I install 1.0.0 and same problem.
No problem if you can't reproduce it. It's only a problem at update installation, so bearable
Thank's

Can be interesting to find out what the problem is , though. The same procedure is used in both cases. Is the account part of a domain or is it a local account?

I have the same problem.
In Desktop and Servers with AD.
After installation I start Reflector and put the same username and password back in the Service configuration and it works.

Re: Can't set regular user for service at install
My computer is part of a domain and I don't have that problem. We could try to find out what you two have for common... Any funny characters in the domain name? Are you using the syntax DOMAIN\user? Is the domain ONE name or for example: DOMAIN.SUFIX ?

Re: Can't set regular user for service at install
I only use domains with common characters.
I don't use the domain suffix.
Remembering that I have the same problems on desktop computers without a domain. I tried to leave the domain box empty and with a "." Same error in both cases.
Re: Can't set regular user for service at install
I just go to version 2 (2.3.2) and now I can select service with regular user account, without error during installation.
So I don't know why, but now it work
