Hi there
I'm trying to perform incremental backups from my linux NAS to a Windows NTFS RAID.
Reflector works fine for my complete day backup, but does not backup any file in incremental days.
I supose something about attribute logic is wrong.
I tried to setup backup unchecking "Use attribute logic" option (for use date instead of logic attribute", but then "Incremental" and "Differential" options are disabled: only "Complete" option is disabled. Why?
Can you help me?
Thanks
Fernando
Incremental backup not working
Re: Incremental backup not working
Almost all NAS use Linux and therefore EXT4 file system. EXT4 doesn't not understand the concept of the "Archive attribute", so "Use archive attribute" must be unchecked. BUT then in order to compare the files by using the timestamps you cannot use "Separated backups".

Hi, Luis
Thanks for you quick reply.
"BUT then in order to compare the files by using the timestamps you cannot use "Separated backups"."
So I can't make Diferential backup, only Complete or Incremental backup. Is that correct?

Re: Incremental backup not working
That's right. Differential backups nneds the archive attribute in order to find out what files have been changed since the latest full backup.
