very long check step in version 1.0

After the update to version 1.0, the backup job performs a very long check step (Screenshot). What exactly is being checked and what can I do about it, so that the backup is ready in a finite amount of time.
The generating of the ZIP-File takes less than 8 hours, but the check runs now over 10 hours.

It's checking the content of the newly created archive. The files are decompressed into the temporary directory with an unique name and deleted after. It shouldn't take such a long time until some antivirus is messing with it and locking the file (my guess).

Is this a new behavior in version 1.0? After downgrade to beta-version the time incl. upload is lower then 5.5 h.

This changes were introduced in 0.98 if I remember it correctly

I can confirm, the impact is from the antivirus software.
