Hi, I detect few errors when deleting backups.
1. If a file without a name, for example .htaccess, gets into the backup, then it is not deleted and an error occurs : Couldn't complete the deletion of files on a remote server: /promgasftp/test/test 2022-05-06 10;44;27 (Full): Directory not empty (code=550).
2. If there are copies in the directory with backups that were not deleted earlier due to errors and new backups are successfully deleted, then the old ones remain, their number exceeds the specified limit and the error is not displayed.
3. Sometimes deleting a backup deletes files, but folders remain.
Errors 2 and 3 are a consequence of error 1.

Re: few errors when deleting backups
This happens with some servers and hidden files. Sometimes forcing the display of hidden files -h helps.

Re: few errors when deleting backups
Hidden files may be the reason why the folder was not deleted. But error 550 occurs when there is a .xxx file in the backup and it is not hidden, in my case it is the .htaccess file from the site backup and the hidden files have nothing to do with it.
I also want to note that Cobian Backup 11Gravity works with the same data without errors

Re: few errors when deleting backups
What kind of server are you using?

Never testes against that kind of server so it definitely could be some kind of idiosyncrasy with it. Will try to install it and test against it.
