New feature suggestion: File Versions Deleted or changed

Just an idea that would really come in handy for me and I'm sure many others. A separate folder which would keep x amount of versions of a file that has been changed or deleted. This way we could always go back to find an older version of a file even if it was deleted a year ago, and we only keep backups for 6 months, for example.

I know I've seen this something like this somewhere else, but I can't remember where.

Just an idea.

This is called "Restore previous versions" and is a feature of the OS. Right click on any map and you will find it (it must be activated on Disk level).

Sure, if you have and want to devote resources to that. But I think that also causes more issues than it's helps fix. It would be much cleaner if the backup just had copies of those files, then admin could manage them however they see fit without worrying about disk space and system performance.
