Full Backup - New/Changed files only

Post by MrCheese »

I am using a backup task in Cobian Reflector with the intention to backup a set of folders to external USB hard drive.
There is a set of 5 hard drives which is changed everyday of the week with different hard drive.
I am using the using the DISKLABEL variable in the destination path, which is set on each USB HDD.
I have set the Backup Type to Full backup, and not using separated backups.
All works as expected, but due to the large amount of data this takes quite a long time.
I am seeking if there is an option so that only the new and changed files copy instead of always copying everything, as 99% of the data will be unchanged.
I am finding using the other Backup Types has trouble, as the drive changes each day.
i.e. If a file was backed on on first hard drive, it does not seem to copy on the next drive the next day.
I am wanting to just make a copy off all files on each drive each day on each separate HDD, but not have it copy files that are the same in the source and destination.
Thanks for any assistance anyone may be able to provide me here.

Just change the backup type from Full to Incremental.
